Heritability
Below, we present the SNP heritabilities of the phenotypes that we predict from DNA.
We use LD Score Regression (LDSC) to estimate the proportion of phenotypic variance in the population explained by the best additive predictor
comprised of common SNPs in our panel (HapMap3+ variants).
Asymptotic PGS correlation (from training on infinite data) can be estimated as the square root of the heritability.
Please note that for dichotomous traits this partly depends on the prevalence of the trait, and does not have a direct translation to predictive performance,
as would be more appropriately measured by AUC.
The PGS correlation has a more direct relevance to continuous traits such as height and fluid intelligence score.
